First Among Equals

First Among Equals is a story I particularly love because I was a member of the House of Commons at the age of 29 and spent five very happy years as a Member of Parliament.

So I watched young men who were very ambitious and wanted to hold the highest office in the land.

And this story, first among course, is about four of them, all from different backgrounds one an aristocrat, one a Scotsman, one someone who came from a family with nothing, and a fourth who’s just plain ambitious.

They all know they want to be Prime Minister, and you will follow their lives, their ups, their downs, until it’s down to two men before it’s decided who will be First Among Equals?
